Comparative Biosciences faculty member Suzanne Berry-Miller published research in Stem Cells Translational Medicine detailing the use of stem cells to prevent the onset of dilated cardiomyopathy, a terminal condition in patients with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, in animal models for the disease.
