As the calendar quickly turns to the second month of 2010, the Office of Career Services has Career and Job Fairs coming up. Now is a perfect time to see me or one of the advisors to refresh your interviewing skills with a Mock Interview, stop in during our drop-in hours to have someone review your resume, or just schedule an appointment with us to discuss job searching skills or how to present yourself at a fair. Remember to be professional at ALL times when you are attending a fair and this does not mean just your appearance. You never know when an employer you just met will be passing by as you grab a snack at the vending machine, use the restroom, or chatting with a friend. Sometimes it is the smaller things that can turn a great chance for an interview in to you being moved to the bottom of the list.
