  • Congratulations to the Graduating (EMBA) Class of 2012!

This Saturday marks the graduation ceremony for the EMBA 2012 class. Hearty congratulations to the class for choosing to invest in themselves, and accomplishing a major educational milestone. We are all extremely proud of all their achievements. We would also like to congratulate the spouses and significant others, families and friends of our students for being the wind beneath their wings, and enabling them to pursue their dreams.

It is not easy to balance work, family, and intense educational pressures. The 2012 class did an amazing job in terms of balancing these pressures and producing top quality output. They will always be remembered for their infectious enthusiasm, great spirits, and the can-do-attitudes that marked all their activities. They will hold a special place in our hearts.

Like all our EMBA classes, the members of the 2012 class are very close to one another. The friendships that they have formed with their peers and the faculty will obviously last a lifetime. From a personal standpoint, I value the 2012 class for the friendships they have already yielded and look forward to their support and guidance of the EMBA programs in the future.

To the EMBA 2012 class: Please keep us posted on the great things (both professional and personal) that will happen in your lives. We will celebrate with you. We are always uplifted by the soaring accomplishments of our students as they often serve as great reminders of why we choose to be educators. When Dean DeBrock calls your names during Commencement on Saturday and gives you your well-deserved diplomas, it marks your graduation. It also symbolizes the start of another era in our lifelong special relationship. You join the illustrious ILLINOIS alumni circle.

Again, congratulations on a job well done! Best wishes in all your endeavors! May the force be with you!
