Entering content area for Graduating Students Say Good-bye to Illinois

blog posts

  • Nicole Hall: It was worth every moment to be here!

Alma: Tell me about your student experience.
Nicole: It was worth every moment to be here.  Are there things I wish I would/wouldn't have done? Of course! But that's what college is all about – learning.  I had a blast and wish I could do it all over again.  People aren't kidding when they say these four years will be the fastest four years of your life.

Alma: What are your plans after graduation?
Nicole: I am going to graduate school at the University of Illinois at Chicago to get my master’s degree in Forensic Science with a specialty in DNA Analysis.  I hope to work in a government crime lab once I obtain this degree.

Alma: Is there anything you'd like to say to alumni and friends who support Illinois?
Nicole: THANK YOU!  Without your support, we wouldn't be who we are...and that is so important.  Continue to support this wonderful school...there is so much to look forward to out of this University.

Alma: If you could offer one piece of advice to incoming students, what would it be?
Nicole: HAVE FUN!  As long as you find the balance between school and social you will have the best four years of your life.  Everyone needs to have fun, even while at school.  You can do it all, I promise!  Good luck!
