Alma: Tell me about your student experience.
LaNesha: The University of Illinois has been great to me. It has been a honor and pleasure being a part of such a prestigious university. If I could do it all over again I would do everything just the same. Resources and opportunities are endless. I am proud to be an Illini! I-L-L!-I-N-I!
Alma: What are your plans after graduation?
LaNesha: Post graduation I will be joining forces with Coca-Cola Refreshments as a Market Development Manager. I will be moving to St. Louis, MO and starting my career in June!
Alma: Is there anything you'd like to say to alumni and friends who support Illinois?
LaNesha: Thank you, without your support the University of Illinois would not be where it is today. Working for the University of Illinois Foundation has really opened my eyes to the spirit of alumni and friends. All of you are wonderful. I cannot thank you enough for your generous contributions. You have paved the way for current students and I will help continue the legacy. Thank you.
Alma: If you could offer one piece of advice to incoming students, what would it be?
LaNesha: Network!! Network!! Network!! The University of Illinois breeds future leaders it is important to network and join organizations early. You never know who your next boss, or co-worker may be. Also, HAVE FUN! Enjoy your college life! These are the best moments of your life! Make them memorable!
