    Joe Cacioppo, DVM/PhD candidate in the laboratory of Dr. CheMyong (Jay) Ko,  presented a poster at the 2012 Illinois Symposium on Reproductive Sciences. Out of 85 poster presentations, Joe's presentation was selected as one of the top five.

  • Dr. Melissa Clark passes certification boards of the American College of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology

    Dr. Melissa Clark , Department of Comparative Biosciences, passed the American College of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology Board Certifying Exam and will continue on to complete her Ph.D. in Pharmacology after three years in the Clinical Pharmacology Residency Program.

    Dr. Indrani C. BagchiOn Friday, September 21, the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine invested Indrani C. Bagchi, professor of comparative biosciences, as the next holder of the Field Chair in Reproductive Biology.

    The work of Dr. Indrani Bagchi significantly informs and advances the field of reproductive biology, both by elucidating the hormonal mechanisms regulating female fertility and by putting basic insights to practical use in novel contraceptives. Spanning basic and applied investigations, her laboratory exemplifies the University's mission to excel in translational biomedical research.
