A skin is very much like a Dreamweaver (html) template. Skins can be applied to any of the tools in the Toolbox so that a user gets your website look and feel even though they are hitting applications on our servers. Your Calendar, Survey, etc... can all look exactly like your website using skins. When you need to make a change, you simply update your skin and any application using it is instantly updated.
