I was just wondering why intramural broomball no longer exists through campusrec. After captaining a team for the past two years, it makes me sad to see this program go away, and I know all of my team members feel the same way. In my opinion it has always been the best intramural activity and was something rather unique compared to other universities' intramural programs. The popularity still seemed to be there for it, and it would seem to me that broomball, which anyone can pick up right away, would have a much wider appeal than regular ice hockey, which takes a lot of skill and investment in equipment. It would be nice to get an explanation of the rationale for taking away this great activity. Thanks!
