I had a great Thanksgiving Break - I took a Thanksgiving Break trip with 45 College of Business students that we planned on our own (it's really a great community here) and then spent time with family. And now, it's go time!
For Thanksgiving Break, about 45 of us went on a trip to Las Vegas. It was incredible to see all of us--Business Council members and people from a few other groups--all traveling together. Imagine a buffett with your best friends from College all there together. It's incredible! I never would have imagined I would be part of such a group when I joined Illinois. And, I met a few new folks there too. It's the best of both worlds!
Now that I'm back, we have the post-Thanksgiving rush. It's time for all those projects and papers that I've procrastined on to be due. (Note to future students: Get things done early!) A huge part of the College of Business education is group-work and real-world cases, so the work is actually pretty neat because you get to see everything come together. And, before you know it, finals and the holidays are here!
It feels like it was my first Thanksgiving in college just yesterday. Now I'm a senior and it's my last one. The time flies. And it's been great!
