    Internship Coordinator: Kim Gudeman

    This internship is available as:

    • Paid

This internship is available for the following semesters:

    • Fall
    • Spring

Internship Description: Hot Facebook applications. Chips that elevate video gaming to new heights. And novel mind-reading interfaces. As an intern for the Coordinated Science Laboratory (CSL), you could write about some of the most exciting research on campus. CSL is a multidisciplinary research unit in the College of Engineering focused on designing game-changing technology that has been featured in Wired, the New York Times and elsewhere.

CSL is seeking a fall intern for its communications office. This is a paid internship that will involve working 10- 15 hours a week. Duties include writing for the Web site and publications, crafting news releases, and assisting with other communications-related projects. Experience with video, social media and other multimedia tools is a plus.

Juniors or seniors are preferred, but the most important qualification for this position is a passion for writing. An interest in science or engineering is a plus, but not required. You should be organized, persistent, and able to work independently. This position is a great resume builder in a unit that is changing tomorrows technology landscape.

To apply for this position, please e-mail a cover letter, resume, and two writing samples to Kim Gudeman at
