The UC Voice Campus Kickoff was a success with three packed sessions on Monday, November 14, 2011.

We had Lync Stations for users to test out Microsoft Lync as well as Q&A booths and a Device Room to test out devices.  The presentation that began the sessions is linked below.  Thank you so much for your partnership with Unified Communications!  (Transcription of video is forthcoming)

1) Is there a good reason I have to log in a second time to leave comments? 2) Will the transcription of the video be available before the SIP phone rollout begins? Plus, posting the slides along with the transcription would be helpful. Thanks

Hello Joseph, thank you for your comments. Here are some follow up comments: 1. I cannot speak to this question fully since we would need to see exactly how you navigated through, although I will say that due to us using Public Affairs web tools for our blog, everything is authenticated against the University AD and as with any system, you may have situations where it will ask you to authenticate again... Again though, we would need to see your situation. 2. With regards to the transcription, our video team is definitely working on this although we're trying to process through all of the videos we've posted thus far and it is a very manual process. Although I cannot give exact timing, I will say that we have been following up on this consistently and will continue to do so. We are very committed to accessibility alongside campus' high commitment. With regards to slides, we have tried to do this but have found that recording the whole presentation and distributing that has worked better even due to platform differences (Apple Keynote), making sense out of the slides and various other logistical reasons. Thanks, Joe Yun
