  • UC and Your Privacy

One of the most common questions asked about UC is whether or not your email, phone, and instant messages are private. Protecting your privacy while taking full advantage UC is a matter of configuring your account properly. A key to maintaining your privacy is to ensure that you, and only you, are deciding what information you save in your UC account. CITES Security has created a WIKI page, UC Privacy, with detailed information on how to keep you and your UC at Illinois account safe, secure, and private.

You will find that this page is broken down by considerations and recommendations on handing your own UC account. If you have any questions about privacy in relation to your UC account, please direct them to the CITES Help Desk, consult@illinois.edu or at (217) 244-7000 or (800) 531-2531.
