    Ricker Library has a new series of architecture books by Rem Koolhaas, "Elements".

  • Lecture by Archie Coates

    Archie Coates, Principal at PlayLab, will be giving a lecture, "Throwing a Very Heavy Flag", on Wednesday November 5th at 5:30 at the Lawrence J. Plym Auditorium in Temple Hoyne Buell Hall.

  • Lecture by Rick Bell

    Rick Bell, Director for the Center for Architecture in New York, will present a lecture titled "Obesity, Architecture & Bicycles" at 5:30pm in the Lawrence J. Plym Auditorium in Temple Hoyne Buell Hall on Monday, November 3rd. This event is sponsored by the Max Abramovitz Distinguished Lecture and also compliments the "FitNation" exhibit in the Temple Buell Hall Gallery that runs from 11/1-11/22.

  • Lecture by Mason White

    Mason White, Partner, Lateral Office, Toronto will lecture on "Spec Building / A Kind of Practice" at 5:30pm on Monday October 27, in Temple Hoyne Buell Hall.  A reception will preceed the lecture at 5pm. 

  • Lecture by Simon Rees

    Simon Rees, Associate Principal and leader of Arup's structural engineering practice in Los Angeles, will give a talk entitled "Technology in Design: Are you Automating or being Automated?" on Wednesday October 22nd at 5:30pm at the Lawrence J. Plym Auditorium in Temple Hoyne Buell Hall.

  • Lecture by Sharon Johnston

    Sharon Johnston, founder and principal at Johnston Marklee & Associates [Los Angeles] will give a lecture, "Architecture and the Ecology of Objects", on Monday October 20th at 5:30 pm at the Lawrence J. Plym Auditorium in Temple Hoyne Buell Hall.

    Erik Larsen, Managing Partner, Transsolar, Inc will speak at 5:30pm on Wed. October 1, 2014 in the Lawrence J. Plym auditorium in Temple Hoyne Buell Hall. 

  • Lecture on The French Poster and World War I

    Ségolène Le Men, Université Paris Ouest Nanterre-La Défense will speak on October 1 at 5:30pm in 62 Krannert Art Museum. Her lecture is entitled "The French Poster and World War I."

  • Lecture on French Illustrators and World War I at Krannert Art Museum

    Teri Edelstein, Museum Strategies, Chicago, will speak at 5pm on Monday September 29 in 62 Krannert Art Museum. Her Lecture is entitled "En Guerre: French Illustrators and World War I."

    The School of Architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will host a symposium entitle "Self Initiated" on Monday September 29, 2014 in Temple Hoyne Buell Hall at 5:30pm.
