This can take planning and practice. Students can either walk to class, take the general MTD buses, or take the DRES buses. The DRES buses pick up students from Nugent Hall on the half-hour of every hour beginning at 7:30 am (8:30 am, 9:30 am and run until 3:30 pm), Monday through Friday, for classes and university activities. Some classes begin and/or end on the half-hour. Students enrolled in these classes may arrive early for class or have to wait 20-30 minutes for bus pickup. Students are encouraged to arrange their class schedules, if possible, so that adequate travel time is allowed between classes. If students prefer they can also use Champaign-Urbana MTD.
