Joe Yazzie is a full-blooded Navajo. He was born and raised two miles from the Pinedale Trading Post in New Mexico. His artwork is all about the Navajo people, the color, the horses and sometimes the dreams from the night before.
Reception with the artist will be held on Saturday, November 14 from 12 noon - 2pm in the Illini Union Art Gallery
Refreshments will be provided
The exhibit runs from November 6-30, 2009
In collaboration with The Spurlock Museum, American Indian Studies, Native American House, American Indian Center of Chicago and Trickster Gallery
