ABSTRACT

PLEASE NOTE: THIS TALK IS AIMED AT A STUDENT AUDIENCE. UI STUDENTS ARE PARTICULARLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.

ViaSat is one of the major players in Information Assurance (IA) for very high-value assets, including classified military data. We established this position by innovation in traditional IA businesses, providing significant advances in performance, functionality, and/or SWAP (Size, Weight and Power). Our IA business is one of our fastest-growing areas, with products and technologies for high-assurance network encryption, trusted filters and interfaces, and inline media encryption. We are also involved in significant new initiatives in the cyber-defense area.

Come hear an overview of ViaSat, and learn about the technology and business of IA and how we are driving state-of-the-art security in the government, enterprise, and consumer sectors.
