This workshop provides a hands-on introduction to using the Abaqus software. Abaqus is a general purpose finite element analysis package that can be used to simulate the response of structures and solid bodies to loads, impacts and thermal stress. It can also be used to visualize the results of these simulations.
Laptop computers will be provided for use by workshop attendees. If you bring your own laptop, it must have either Linux OS, or Windows OS with Exceed 3D installed in order to remotely access Abaqus GUIs from NCSA machines. |
