ABSTRACT:  Alternative Splicing is a widespread mechanism for controlling gene expression. We have previously identified hundreds of genes that are regulated in reponse to antigen stimulation of T cells by changes in their splicing patterns. We are currently working toward uncovering the many molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways by which such activation-response alternative splicing is controlled.
