Scholars from throughout the region will meet on the U. of I. campus to discuss the latest research in literature, culture, history, and visual studies. This year's symposium will include talks by Robert Norton (University of Notre Dame), Brigitta Wagner (Indiana University), Craig Koslofsky (University of Illinois), Stephanie Hilger (University of Illinois), Brad Prager (University of Missouri), Ben Robinson (Indiana University), and Sara Hall (University of Illinois at Chicago). A number of guest discussants from each institution and from other universities (including Washington University, Case Western Reserve, and the University of Illinois-Chicago) also will attend. We look forward to participating in sessions full of constructive feedback on our ongoing research, becoming better acquainted with one another, and developing ideas for collaborative initiatives of benefit to all of our institutions.
