1) Znaniecki Publication Prize This must be a paper in print. It must be published in a journal within Sociology, or closely related area, between May 1, 2011 and April 30, 2012. We will accept resubmitted/revised articles. Please note the Journal as part of the email submission. 2) Beslow Graduate Paper Award This award is for a published, or unpublished, graduate student paper. It must have been completed after May 1, 2011. These submissions are due to the Sociology Department no later than 5:00 PM March 26, 2012, and will only be accepted electronically. The paper must be sent to the department via email to Julie Woolsey at jwoolsey@illinois.edu. ONLY electronic copies of papers will be accepted. Graduate papers may be nominated in both categories. Please note which award you are submitting under at the time of submission. These paper awards will be announced at the Annual Znanieski Lecture. This year the Znanieski Lecture is May 3, 2012. It will be followed by the Annual Spring Award Reception (time and place to be announced).
