Lane Schwarz is research scientist at the Air Force Research Laboratory in Ohio. He has focused on large-scale machine translation research over a broad range of high- and low-resource language pairs with applications to problems in computational linguistics, particularly machine translation. He has also worked on novel cognitive and computational models of human language in the context of statistical machine translation. Dr. Schwartz is a graduate of the University of Minnesota (PhD) and University of Cambridge (MPhil).
