Who doesn’t dread grading student papers and exams? Students are not the only ones who put things off until the last minute – and yet, grading doesn’t have to bring such misery. This workshop will discuss the principles of grading and offer some strategies for grading students’ work efficiently and effectively, including for group projects. If time allows, we will review the options for calculating a final grade for the course from the grades on the various individual assignments. Please come with questions and ideas relevant to your field.
