Have you ever wondered how your course fits into the everyday lives and practices of your students? Or how students from such seemingly different backgrounds can come together to help each other learn? This workshop explores multiple facets of cultural diversity (e.g. class, gender, ethnicity, nationality, race, sexuality, academic discipline, political, religious) and discusses strategies for using diverse cultural perspectives as a resource in the classroom.
