Blue Waters is one of the most powerful supercomputers in the world, and science and engineering teams from across the country have begun it to solve the most challenging problems in their disciplines.

A launch ceremony will recognize NCSA's achievement in deploying Blue Waters and will look ahead to the science and engineering insights the project will enable as it moves into full production.
