Increase your awareness of potential threats and warning signs of terrorist activities in and around the laboratory environment. Special Agent Steffan Nass currently serves as the Weapons of Mass Destruction coordinator for the Springfield, IL division of the FBI. SA Nass entered into duty with the FBI in 1996 and was initially assigned to the Miami, FL. division. In Miami, SA Nass worked public corruption, white collar crime and counterterrorism investigations. In 1999 he joined the Miami Division Hazardous Materials Response Team and served as the unit's team leader from 2003-2005, before being transferred to his current assignment.
