The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Vice President and Chancellor Phyllis M. Wise will host the presidents and other top administrators from, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm University, and Karolinska Institutet for the two-day INSPIRE Alliance Summit April 25-26. The INSPIRE Alliance is a transnational partnership between the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Illinois) and three leading universities in Stockholm, Sweden. As an example of partnership research, Dr. Juhee Kim, Department of Kinesiology and Community Health, has been collaborating with several international scholars in as INSPIRE sponsored research project. Their research explores and highlights differences in childcare programs and their impact on children's health and national fertility rates.
