Parfaite Ntahuba will discuss a project that provides health services to women and their families who are affected by HIV/AIDS, as well as economic and social reintegration of women who have survived gender-based violence.
Parfaite Ntahuba is a Quaker pastor and Director of Friends Women's Association (FWA) in Burundi. FWA is a grassroots organization founded by and for Burundian women to address their needs in a post-conflict environment. FWA operates several projects, including a health clinic for women and their families affected by HIV/AIDS and a program that helps women who have survived gender-based violence to reintegrate in their communities
