The Oracle of Omaha uses Discounted Cash Flow to determine how much to
pay for a company. DCF is also applied to the cash flows generated by income
producing real estate to determine a purchase price for a building.
Purchasing a home is usually the largest investment made by individuals. The
class will also cover home acquisition compared to renting and provide a solid
economic comparison of owning versus renting.
