Two Strategies for Writing Successful Proposals
In this 2- hours workshop, Celia Elliott, a science writer and technical editor in the UI Department of Physics, will present two strategies for writing successful grant proposals to federal funding agencies. In the first half of the workshop, Celia will share the method she's developed to use the program announcement to craft a responsive, easy-to-review, compelling proposal. In the second half of the workshop, Celia will present a recipe to create a concise, direct, persuasive project summary'the most important component of any proposal.
Registration required. Priority seating will be given to members of the Chemistry Department.
