Teaching Philosophy Basics for Graduate Students
This workshop is full. The workshop will be repeated on Friday, March 8, 12:00-1:30. Please go to that entry to register for the workshop. Thank you.
More and more institutions are asking applicants for faculty positions to submit a teaching philosophy statement with their applications. Some of CTE's teaching certificates also require a teaching philosophy statement. This statement should reflect you and your teaching, but you may be unsure of where to begin or how to start. This workshop will guide you through the necessary steps to arrive at a statement that truly reflects your thoughts on teaching. Even if you are not getting ready for the job market or working on a certificate, you may also find this workshop useful if you are interested in reflecting on teaching. You may bring your lunch.
