An Evening With Sarah Jarosz
Once described as Gillian Welch's "long-lost daughter" by Rolling Stone Magazine, Sarah Jarosz's music fits comfortably where contemporary folk, Americana and roots music intersect. A 22-year-old Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Wimberley, Texas, and a recent honors graduate from the prestigious New England Conservatory, Jarosz released her third album, Build Me Up From Bones, on Sugar Hill Records in September 2013. The album quickly garnered two Grammy nominations for Best Folk Album and Best American Roots Song, adding to her earlier nomination for her son "Mansinneedof" from her debut album Song Up In Her Head. Jarosz was also nominated for Americana Music Association Awards for New/Emerging Artist of the Year (2010), Instrumentalist of the Year (2011) and Song of the Year (2012).
