Come out and help us Kick-Off The Big Read in Central Illinois! The evening will include refreshments and informational tables from the participating libraries and cultural groups involved in The Big Read, the announcement of the winners for the "Under the Influence: Music that Inspires Expression Contest", and a performance by the Sangamon Valley Youth Symphony with music that helped inspire Carson McCullers' book, "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter." Open to the public.
