Taxation of tuition waivers for University employees (primarily Graduate Assistants) presents potential financial crises when withholding occurs in the later part of the semester. In order to be prepared for this potential loss of monthly income, employees should know the ins and outs of who is affected, how they are affected, and where the tools for preparation are located.
