About the Workshop: The Urbana-Champaign Angel Network is offering the Angel Resource Institute workshop, Valuation of Early-Stage Companies. The four-hour workshop educates and empowers angel investors, entrepreneurs and other interested in access to capital on a variety of ways to value pre-revenue companies. This interactive workshop teaches three valuation methodologies: the Venture Capital Method, the Scorecard Method and the Rick Factor Summation Method. In addition, attendees explore the importance of approaches and the roles of returns and portfolio strategies to angel groups and to your next deal. Attendees also put these methods to work in the kind of interactive case study that have become so popular with ARI programs.

A continental breakfast is included in your registration fee.

About the Speaker: The workshop will be delivered by Bob Okabe, President, Angel Resource Institute and Managing Director, RPX Group, LLC. Since 2001, the Angel Resource Institute (ARI) programs have been delivered to more than 5,500 participants throughout the United States and in Canada, England, Poland, New Zealand and Australia. ARI is the leader in educating angel investors, entrepreneurs, economic development professionals and other support service staff with the skills and training needed to successfully engage the angel investing process.
