The Retirement Research Foundation sponsors the Paul D. Doolen Graduate Scholarship for the Study of Aging, for research on "biological or sociological aspect of aging or treatment of diseases of the elderly".
For 2013-14 $4000 scholarships will be given to two grad students in the second year of study or beyond - one in biological-biomedical sciences and one in social-behavioral sciences. Students in our department have gotten these scholarships in the past. For 2012-13, one recipient is from Kinesiology and the other from Educational Psychology.
