The Chez Family Foundation Center for Wounded Veterans in Higher Education, Veterans Student Support Services, and the University of Illinois Archives
To commemorate the national observance of Veterans Day, this exhibit showcases the rich military history and dedicated support that is associated with the University of Illinois. From our land-grant beginning to our pioneering work in disability services and support of today’s transitioning and wounded warriors, this exhibit documents our continued commitment to serve those who have served our nation with honor.
The exhibit, sponsored by the Chez Family Foundation Center for Wounded Veterans in Higher Education, Veterans Student Support Services, and the University of Illinois Archives, draws upon a variety of published materials from the collections of the University Library. The exhibit also includes objects and artifacts donated by local veterans and currently-enrolled student veterans.
