GeoJam is an exciting, family oriented evening full of several hands-on activities that include robotic and computer explorations, riddles, puzzles, competitions, soduku, and a free raffle prize drawing. This is a free event being hosted by the pre-service secondary math educators from the University of Illinois and is designed for students, especially those students that are not normally engaged in math in a classroom setting. GeoJam allows those students to participate in fun activities where they can interact with mathematics in forms that are not typical of what they see in school. Everyone is welcome and the event is open to people of all ages!
