The mathematics students in the secondary education program at the University of Illinois are proud to invite you to the Seventh Annual GeoJam, to be held May 10, 2012. As prospective math teachers, these students have collaborated to put together this event, which will put an engaging spin on mathematics. Students at Central High School and Edison Middle School in Champaign, along with their families and friends, will be invited to participate by competing in teams to solve unique mathematical puzzles and problems. The GeoJam competition's purpose lies in engaging students and their families from the Champaign community, that they may come to have an appreciation for school mathematics, as well as being supportive of the students' education. Each year, GeoJam has been increasingly successful in attendance and quality and we would love for you to be there to see the most exciting event yet! For more information, visit the web site: geojam.centralmath.org/2012.
