Office of Undergraduate Admissions' "Experience Illinois" works with counselors in Chicago Public Schools to host approximately 100 high-achieving ninth and tenth grade students who are low income or students of color to experience a day as a student at Illinois. This important program gives young students a concrete vision of life after high school and teaches them the importance of proper educational preparation to achieve academic and career goals. Academic Adviser Joe Cross' topic will be: "The New Me—Education Produces a Better ME Everyday."
