Mission of Conference The overarching purpose of the College of Education Graduate Student Conference (COEGSC) is to build a community for education within the college that crosses departmental boundaries, promotes dialogue, and encourages collaboration. The COE Graduate Student Conference seeks to promote inclusiveness, nurture enthusiasm for research, and provide outlets for high quality research. Call for Proposals The Graduate Student Conference welcomes all research areas, and wants to share the work of all students across the College. Consider sharing your proposals from AERA, CREA, ASHE, and other conferences. This is also a great way to practice sharing your research prior to attending a national conference. Abstracts are limited to 500 words, with the exception of roundtables and posters, which are limited to 300 words. All proposals must be submitted electronically by 5 p.m. CST on Feburary 13, 2013, to http://conftool.education.illinois.edu/gsc2013/. For more information, contact Montrischa Williams at gsc@education.illinois.edu.
