Attend this free seminar sponsored by MathWorks and NVIDIA to learn how multicore desktops and NVIDIA GPUs can speed up your computationally intensive MATLAB problems. We will begin by introducing you to high-level programming constructs that allow you to parallelize MATLAB applications and run them on multiple processors. Highlights will include: 'Toolboxes with built-in support for parallel computing 'Creating parallel applications to speed up independent tasks 'Scaling up to computer clusters, grid environments or clouds We will then discuss GPU computing with MATLAB in more detail. We will show how, with minimal changes to your existing code, you can instruct MATLAB to perform computations on NVIDIA Tesla and Quadro GPUs, whose massively parallel architecture often produce significant speed ups compared with CPUs. Highlights will include:Using GPU enabled MATLAB functions, Using custom CUDA kernels from MATLAB, Distributing MATLAB GPU applications as standalone executables and software components. The seminar will conclude with a Q&A session with NVIDIA and MathWorks engineers.
