People often mistakenly think that the secret to changing their health habits is about willpower, when in actuality it’s more about skill power. Lifestyle skills such as problem solving have been shown to help people make long lasting healthy changes. Participants will learn practical problem solving techniques that enable them to overcome barriers that thwart their efforts to live healthfully. This technique can be used to overcome barriers to any healthy habit – physical activity, healthy eating, smoking cessation, weight management, stress management and more.
