The workshop will be held in the Main Library, Library 314. Take the north stairwell (Armory and Wright Street entrance) to the 3rd floor of the Main Library and make a left at the top of the stairs.
GIS software is able to ''join'' tables of Census data to geographic boundary files in order to display thematic maps. Learn which boundary files work best with Census data, how to format Census data so that it will join with boundary files, and some of the issues you need to think about when joining these files together.
