The Lemelson-Illinois Student Prize is awarded on an annual basis to the mostinnovative University of Illlinois at Urbana-Champaign students. These students arepassionate about solving grand challenges and striving to be entrepreneurial. Inaddition to rewarding students for their innovation and creativity, the Lemelson-IllinoisStudent Prize generates excitement about innovation and entrepreneurship andhighlights the significance of innovation in our everyday lives.
