In 2009, the founders of Bump Nonprofit Design Studio invented the OpenSocket, an innovative, off-the-shelf prosthetic device. The group will present updates on their work distributing the device through partner organizations in Central America, India, and Sierra Leone. Interns will report on a new initiative to scale and relocate manufacturing as well as the development of a new child-sized OpenSocket prosthesis. Lunch will be provided.
