Drug Discovery from Target Selection to Clinical Trials: How Can the CCTS, UICentre and NIH Help?
We will present a brief overview of the steps in the drug discovery process, from target identification and selection to regulatory approval and clinical trials. We will identify various roadblocks in the drug discovery process, and where the CCTS, UICentre, and NIH can help. More detailed information will be forthcoming at a workshop on May 7, co-sponsored by the CCTS, Cancer Center, OTM, and UICentre for Drug Discovery.
