TL1 Pre-Doctoral Education for Clinical and Translational Scientists (PECTS) Program

The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) invites applications for the 2012 Pre-doctoral Education for Clinical and Translational Scientists (PECTS) Program to support the dissertation research of basic biomedical PhD candidates who are preparing for careers as translational researchers.  Awards will support trainees whose graduate research has a major clinical or translational research focus, but who are part of a more basic PhD program that does not ordinarily provide training in more clinically applied investigation. We intend to select up to one Fellow in this round and expect to announce the selection by August 1, 2012. The entire contents of the RFA and the application form can be found directly at http://go.uic.edu/TL1.
