This two-hour session presented by Heather Kim will provide an introduction to REDCap and its various capabilities, including:
- An overview of basic concepts and features
- Creating online and offline databases
- User rights settings
- Data entry
- Exporting and importing data
REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a secure, web-based application for building and managing online databases for the collection and entry of research data.
REDCap is provided by the Design and Analysis Core (DAC) of the Center for Clinical and Translational Science (Award#UL1RRo29879) and The UIC Cancer Center (CC) and is maintained by the IT staff at the Institute for Health Research and Policy (IHRP).
