The 2012 Lincoln Legacy Lectures, "Lincoln and the Emancipation Proclamation," will feature two lectures presented on October 11, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in Brookens Auditorium at UIS. Dr. Allen Guelzo, Director of Civil War Era Studies at Gettysburg College, will give a lecture on "Four Roads to Emancipation." Author Ron Soodalter will present "A Blight on the Nation: Human Trafficking and Slavery in America Today." The event is free and open to the public. No reservations are required.
