The 40-hour Hazardous Material Technician Program includes all the techniques and skills learned during the Hazwoper course as well as training students to respond to unplanned releases of hazardous materials and chemical incidents. All students receive extensive hands-on training during site simulations. This course includes a full dress-out with medical required. Complies with the training requirements of OSHA's Hazardous Waste Operation and Emergency Response Standard 29 CFR 1910.120 (q) (6) and DOT's Shipper/Transporter Standards--49CFR 172.700 & 177.800.
